Allenby is perhaps the strangest and most fascinating street in Tel- Aviv, as it embodies the splendor of its old day and the neglect of the last 30 years. This mixture creates an interesting décor, as it invites contemporary artists to blend and integrate their art works in this unique area.
In this tour we will visit galleries in the "White City center" created by the Tel-Aviv municipality, the CCA center and even one located in the stairways of a small boutique hotel. We learn about contemporary Israeli art in what appears to be the next neighborhood to become the IT place of the local art scene.

This tour is guided by Michal Sophia Tobiass: an active artist based in Tel Aviv working mainly in the fields of sculpture, dance and and photography.
