כריסטוף בוטין ומלאני סקריליה הם הבעלים של הוצאת "ספרי שלושה כוכבים" (נוסדה בשנת 2007 בפריז). ההוצאה מוציאה לאור ספרים ומהדורות דפוס של אמנים עכשוויים. עבור "ספרי שלושת הכוכבים" המונח "ספר אמן" נתון לפירוש באופן רופף, כיוון שהמוצר הסופי לרוב עולה על הפרמטרים הפיזיים והרעיוניים של הוצאה לאור. במהלך ההרצאה, בוטין וסקריליה – אשר עבדו בעבר מספר פעמים עם האמן ג'ונתן מונק – יציגו את ראשיתה של הוצאת "ספרי שלושה כוכבים" וישתפו בתובנות הקשורות לעבודה עם אמנים במסגרת זו, ומהו ניהול בית עסק מסוג זה בשנת 2020.
המפגש עם כריסטוף בוטין ומלאני סקריליה הוא חלק מתכנית האירועים הנערכים בצדה של התערוכה "ג'ונתן מונק: מודל תצוגה שש – גרסת תל אביב", אשר במסגרתה מתקיימים מפגשים עם בעלי תפקידים בשדה האמנות (האמנית, העורך, האספן והאוצרת), כל זה לצד סיורים מודרכים בתערוכה עם האוצר ניקולה טרצי.

Christophe Boutin and Mélanie Scarciglia are the owners of Three Star Books (est. 2007, Paris), which produces books and editions with contemporary living artists. At Three Star Books the term “Artist’s book” is interpreted loosely, as the final product often exceeds the physical and conceptual parameters of publishing. During their presentation, Boutin and Scarciglia – who have worked several times with Jonathan Monk – will present the genesis of Three Star Books and share some insights connected to working with artists in this capacity and running a business as such in 2020
“The editors – meeting with Christophe Boutin and Mélanie Scarciglia” is part of the public program of “Jonathan Monk: Exhibit Model 6 – The Tel Aviv Version”; meetings with other figures in the field of art (the artist, the editors, the collector, and the curator) as well as tours by Nicola Trezzi, curator of the exhibition, will follow
