הרכב הבלוז החם ביותר בממפיס כרגע, זוכי ה- Blues Music Awards 2018, והגיעו למקום הראשון באייטיונז והשישי בבילבורד. הם חתומים בלייבל האגדי Stax Records, ומופיעים בכל רחבי ארה״ב והעולם עם אמנים כמו באדי גאי, דרק טראקס ורבים נוספים.

אורי נפתלי וטירני ג׳קסון - הפאואר קאפל המוביל את ההרכב - יתארחו אצל Twin Tree Grove ויביאו את דאונטאון ממפיס היישר לדרום ת״א.

OSOG

חבורת נגני רחוב מפלורנטין שהפכו בשנתיים האחרונות ללהקה בינלאומית החורשת את ישראל, ארה״ב, קנדה ובכלל ומאחוריה שני אלבומים ומאות הופעות בארץ ובעולם. הלהקה, המונה שבעה נגנים ונגניות ומבוססת בעיקר על כלי מיתר אקוסטיים (גיטרות, יוקללה, מנדולינה), מביאה איתה וויב אמריקנה אסלי,מרקיד, שמח ומרגש שכבר הופך לאט לאט לשם דבר בסצנת הפולק העולמית.

דור נגר

סינגר-סונגרייטר רגיש ומשובח שהחל לאחרונה את דרכו אל עבר אלבום בכורה, אחרי שנים רבות כפרפורמר המבצע שירים של אחרים במסגרות שונות. נגר מוכר בחוגים רבים כאחד הווקליסטים הגדולים בסביבה, וכעת סופסוף נחשפים גם כישוריו כיוצר ושיריו המקוריים רואים אור לראשונה במופע סולו אקוסטי מרגש.

גל דה פז

ללא ספק אחת הזמרות הגדולות שידעה ארצנו, מובילת הרכב האינדי-רוק The Paz Band וסולנית קולקטיב ההיפ-הופ/סול/פאנק Lucille Crew. בשנתיים האחרונות כובשת דה פז פסגה אחר פסגה בארץ ובעולם, הן עם שתי הלהקות והן באופן עצמאי.

בן גולן

איש הרוק והפסיכדליה שהיה ידוע עד לא מזמן כמייסד, סולן וגיטריסט להקת TREE ויצא בשנה שעברה לקריירת סולו עם אלבום בכורה בעברית שיצא בלייבל אווזה. 4 שירים מתוך שמונה יצאו כסינגלים בכל רחבי הרדיו וזיכו את בן במועמדות לשיר השנה של גלגלצ ולסינגל השנה ופריצת השנה של כאן גימל.

דני דורצ'ין

להקה שלמה של איש אחד המנגן גראז' בלוז מקורי, גרובי ומלוכלך. הרגליים על התופים, הידיים עלהגיטרה, הריאות על מפוחית ושירה והלב עובד שעות נוספות. בחמש השנים האחרונות הוציא דורצ׳ין שניאלבומים, הופיע מאות פעמים בפסטיבלים ומועדונים ברחבי הארץ ובחו”ל ופתח את הופעותיהם שלאמנים מקומיים ובינלאומיים רבים.

צמד פולק שנולד כתוצאה מהקשר החזק בין בני הזוג ג'ניה וסילנקו ויואב אור. בבית קטן ומבודד על צלע הר הזמארין המשקיף לכרמל, התחילו בני הזוג לכתוב מוזיקה. במהלך ארבע השנים האחרונות הם פירקו והרכיבו מחדש את השירים, עד שזיקקו אותם לכדי יצירה חדשה ומרתקת - שירים פולקיים עוצמתיים העטופים בשובל אלקטרוני ובו בזמן עדינים, שמתכתבים עם מקומות ממסעותיהם ברחבי הגלובוס,ומושרים בשני קולות. דרך החיים שבה בחרו לחיות היא המהות והקו המנחה של ההרכב. הרצון לחיי נדידה לצד עשיית אומנות מגוונת באופן מתמיד מאפשרת לצמד לייצר שפה אקלקטית ייחודית.

An intreating new folk-rock group based in Tel-Aviv, performing regularly

across the country and increasingly growing their fanbase and recognition in the

Israeli indie scene.

Committed to honesty and nonconformity, they sensitively mash together

acoustic and electric folk, country, blues and rock n’ roll.

Their songs maintain a high standard of personal, non-compromising lyrics and

arrangements that take the listener on a musical travelog through the endless

Memphis’ hottest blues band at the moment, 2018 Blues Music Awards

OSOG

Forged in the streets of Tel-Aviv and playing all over Israel, Canada and the

US, OSOG (On Shoulders of Giants) are a seven-member hardcore folk

supergroup. Using only acoustic instruments and playing folk music with a

heavy metal attitude, they create a unique sound and generate an upbeat oldtime

Americana string band vibe.

Dor Nagar

A unique and promising singer-songwriter, working toward his debut album

after years of performing others’ music on countless different projects. Known

to many as one of the most impressive vocalists on the scene, Nagar is finally

sharing his original songs and his skills and sensitivity as a songwriter with a

solo acoustic act, seen first on Folk Night TLV 2018!

Gal De Paz

Leader of indie-rock group The Paz Band and frontwoman of hip-hop\soul\funk

collective Lucille Crew, Gal is arguably one of the greatest singers in the

country and undoubtedly among the busiest ones.

In the last couple of years De Paz has been furiously harvesting achievements

both domestically and internationally, with both bands and by herself. At Folk

Night TLV you’ll get the rare opportunity to see her perform some of her best

songs in a special solo acoustic set.

Ben Golan

Founding member of psychedelic rock sensation TREE, Ben Golan is a highly

rated guitarist and singer-songwriter who recently embarked on a career as a

solo artist. His debut album in Hebrew has struck root in the Israeli indie scene

and earned him nominations for “song of the year”, “single of the year” and

“upcoming artist of the year” on several hit parades by leading Israeli radio

stations.

Golan will be performing his new solo acoustic set of original Hebrew folk.

Dani Dorchin

A captivating one-man-band playing dirty, groovy original garage blues,

simultaneously singing and playing the guitar, the drums, the harp and the heart.

Over the past five years Dorchin has released two albums, played hundreds of

clubs and festivals all over Israel and the world and opened for many local and

international acts, such as Patti Smith and Bob Log III.

Hayelala

Magical atmospheric soul-folk, seasoned with influences of folklore from all

around the globe.

Driven by stories and travels, and compiled with soulful vocal and instrumental

harmonies; the group provides a hypnotizing show full of poetry and groove.

Hayelala (translates to ’the wail’\’the howl’) will be landing at Folk Night TLV

after several months touring Europe, and after countless shows all over Israel

and abroad.

A long running widely acclaimed electro-folk duo, made of life partners Jenia

Vasilenko and Yoav Or.

With great sensitivity and many miles traveled, the duo wraps folky songs with

a gentle electronic blanket and creates a unique and eclectic language which is

strongly felt in their soft yet powerful music.

JonZ will be joined by special surprise guests courtesy of the German Embassy

in Tel-Aviv.
