Energy Conversation

Energy Conversation is a solo work that examines the source of our constant movement. What helps us to be in motion. What is the basic reason for movement and how the aesthetics of movement and body change under the influence of time and fatigue.
The work was inspired by the dance of the Dervishes, which is a controlled rotation dance in a circle. Sufi teachings were characterized by a deep analysis of the smallest movements of the human soul, the hidden motives of his actions, as well as attention to personal experience. During the dance, the dervish is filled with love, leaves his ego and reaches spiritual perfection. But what happens at this moment to the body under the influence of time and under the condition of loss of control?
The work deals with the questions: How does movement itself produce movement, and where within it is our desire as human beings? By understanding and gradually breaking down the movement into its components, do we gain "wholeness" and enlightenment, or do we bring ourselves to self-exhaustion and stop?

על ישות ויצור; מכתב לַנרקיס:
אין מלבדי בעולם. הכל תחתיי, אני ממלא את האור והיופי, יש לי עולם פנימי גדול. אני האהבה והשלמות.
רק ההשתקפות שלי, אני משקף את עצמי שמשתקף דרכי שמשקף אותי. אני פרח מוגן.
אולי אתה מרגיש נקי וטהור מפסיכולוגיות, אך גם במקביל אתה סוג של מת.
כשאתה מבקר בחיים אתה מזלזל בחוסר הטוטאליות שיש שם ואף פעם לא תהיה מספיק
טוטאלי... אני מבטיח שבבואתך לא תביא עלייך מוות אלא הצצה לשכבות הפנימיות ביותר שלך שמתפרצות
מפעם לפעם, תוותר על הניסיונות לשמור על הפרסונה. אל תציג כלום, תשאיר קצת מקום
לסקרנות. אתה לא בדיוק נרקיס קלאסי.
אני מקווה שכשתעזוב, תאהב את עצמך ותשחרר, תהיה שלם.

Clay

Clay is a dance theatre piece that was born from a deep-rooted personal discord. In it, a couple tries to choose the optimistic side of a grim situation, and bring lightness to a darkening world around them. A piece born out of an unforeseen physical limitation. A bittersweet escape into imagination, beyond logic and reason unbound by time.
