ליאורה קפלן, שתערוכתה "מקצבים של תהודה קבועה" מוצגת בימים אלה ב־CCA תל אביב-יפו, תשוחח יחד עם האמניות נעמה ערד ונועה גלזר על עיסוקן המשותף בפיסול, בהנחייתה של תמר מרגלית. על רקע מגמה בה אמנים מגדירים את עצמם יותר ויותר כ"רב תחומיים", בולטת הבחירה של קפלן, ערד, וגלזר להגדיר כל אחת את עצמה כפסלת. זאת על אף שביצירותיהן הן נעות בין חומרים ואופני הצבה מגוונים. בשיחה ידונו האמניות, בין היתר, בגישותיהן השונות לחומרים ולרדי־מייד, קראפט ומיומנות ביצועית, והמקום הניתן למטען ביוגרפי ביצירה.

ليؤورا كابلان، التي يُعرض معرضها حاليًا في المركز، ستتحدث مع الفنانات نعاما عراد ونوعا غلازر حول عملهما المشترك في النحت، تحت إشراف تمار مارغاليت. في الوقت الذي يعرفون فيه الفنانون أنفسهم بشكل متزايد بأنهم «متعددين التخصصات»، يبرز اختيار كابلان، عراد وغلازر لتعريف بعضهم البعض كنحات. في الوقت نفسه، يتحرك كل منهن بحرية بين المواد والأشكال. في المحادثة، ستناقش الفنانات، من بين أمور أخرى، مناهجهم المختلفة تجاه المواد والجاهزية على الفور، والمهارة الحرفية والأداء، والمكان المخصص لأمتعة السيرة الذاتية في العمل.

Liora Kaplan, whose exhibition “Rhythms of Permanent Resonance” is currently shown at the CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo, will be joined by artists Naama Arad and Noa Glazer in conversation, moderated by Tamar Margalit. At a time in which artists increasingly define themselves as “Multidisciplinary,” these three artists stand out in identifying themselves as sculptors first and foremost. At the same time, each of them moves freely between materials and formats. The conversation will touch on the artists' varying approaches to materials and the incorporation of readymades, fabrication and craft, and the role of biography in the work.
