נדמה כי המחשבה החריפה ביותר, העדינה ביותר, עולה מתוך שבר. נדמה כי הפעולה – לחשוב – מוצאת את צורתה הטהורה והדחופה כך. אבל כיצד לחשוב לא רק מן הזמן, אלא, גם, מן המקום? איזה מקום? מה צריך לקרוא עכשיו, מה עלינו לקרוא כאן?

בקבוצת הלימוד נקרא יחד קריאה פעילה וביקורתית בשש הצעות להתמקמות. ננוע על סקאלה כמעט אינסופית של זמן, נחשוב את המרחב התיאולוגי ואת זה הקונקרטי, נקרא מן המקום הקטן, מן המקום הגדול, מן המקום האחר.

נחשוב יחד על מה היא פעולה אמנותית לאור וכנגד כוחה של ההתמקמות.

המפגשים יונחו על ידי ד״ר זהר אלמקייס, אנתרופולוגית וסופרת, עמיתת פוסט-דוקטורט במכון ון ליר והוגת הבית של המרכז לאמנות עכשווית. המפגשים יתקיימו אחת לחודש, בימי שני, בין השעות 19:00-21:00, במרכז לאמנות עכשווית (CCA).ההשתתפות היא בסדרת המפגשים המלאה, וחומרי קריאה לכל מפגש יישלחו מראש.

It seems that the sharpest, most tender thought, arises from rifts. It seems that in such states the very act of thinking finds its pure and urgent form. Yet how can one think not only out of time but also out of (a) place? What place? What should we read now, what must we read here?

In the scope of the study group, we will read together actively and critically in six potential location-making. We will move across a nearly endless scale of time; think about theological and concrete places alike; read from a small place, from a large place, from a different place.

We will think together about what can the artistic act be in light of and against the force of location.

The group will be led by Zohar Elmakias, an anthropologist and author, a postdoctoral fellow at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute and the Resident Thinker at the CCA.
