Wintering Ducks of the Judean Plains

Winter is a great time to see ducks in Israel and many species migrate south and spend their winter here. We will explore one of the best reservoirs in the area where we hope to many species including the rare White-headed Duck.
Possible species include: Little Grebe, Eared Grebe, Ferruginous Duck, Green-winged Teal, Northern Shoveler, Common Pochard, Tufted Duck, Western Marsh Harrier, along with kingfishers, pipits, wagtails and much more.

No experience is necessary!
