The Great Sand Dune - A Magical Evening Adventure for the Whole Family

Join us for a special family adventure among the beautiful sand dunes of Ashdod - one of the last remaining white sand dune habitats along Israel's southern coast. As the sun begins to set, we'll explore this unique landscape together, discovering fascinating plants that thrive in the shifting sands. As darkness falls and the stars begin to appear, we'll become nature detectives, searching for footprints and signs left behind by the animals that come alive at night. With a little luck, we may even spot some of the dune creatures ourselves! Along the way, we'll hear stories about the animals that call the dunes home, learn how they survive in this challenging environment and discover why protecting these special habitats is so important.
Children and adults alike will enjoy rolling down the soft dunes, exploring the sand, and uncovering the secrets of how these dunes were formed. We'll finish the evening gathered around the fire, cooking fresh pitot together and enjoying the magic of the night. Perfect for families who love nature and adventure!

Easy to medium level of difficulty - walking around 2 km on sand.

(Not accessible to baby strollers)
