Magic Among the Rocks – A Family Trip to the Rocky Coast of the Mediterranean

There is much more to the sea than meets the eye – and the rocky coast is living proof of this!

Come discover a fascinating world hidden between the waves and the kurkar rocks – a world where special animals face changing challenges every day, just like nature’s superheroes.

We will take a walk along the waterfront, explore the kurkar rocks that make up the rocky coast and search the rock shelves for crabs, snails, small fish and other surprises that are hiding under our noses. We will learn how these small creatures manage to survive in a place where sometimes there is water, sometimes just sun and wind – and always lots of natural action.

Between high and low tide, between water and dry rock, we will discover a beach that is not only beautiful – but also surprising, mysterious and full of life.

Location: Tel Dor Nature Reserve

Difficulty level: Easy, 3 km walking on sand and paths.

The track is not shaded and not accessible to strollers
