On the outskirts of the city, on the slopes below Ramot, the pine trees and open scrub forest of Mitzpeh Naftoah can host a varity of birds – migratory and local residents. It can also be a good place to see migrating raptors is the wind is in the right direction. Join the English Bird Club for their monthly bird walk. No experience needed. In English. Around 2 km on good paths with some uneven ground.

Cost of walks: Free to members of the English Bird Club
All others welcome - cost 70 nis per walk.
SPNI members 60 nis per walk.
