Due to the demand - Piano Between Us is back with another round:

Choreographer Yankalle Filtser invites dancer Yoni Simon (Batsheva Dance Company) and singer Ella Lavi (Cruella) to a journey mixing music and dance. The show exposes a personal autobiography about relations, separation and glitter and tears.

The piece was created as part of the "Open Source Choreography" project, meaning the participants are full collaborative creators of the piece.

The show will be hosted at Yafo Creative (full address will be sent towards the event). It will be accompanied with a glass of wine and will end with a party with DJ Yoni Simon. Please note: show includes texts in Hebrew.

The project was initiated with the support of: Pais foundation, Rabinowitz foundation and Tel Aviv municipality, Sadna'ot Habama stage center and Yafo Creative.

Yoni Simon is a dancer and choreographer. Dancer at Batsheva Dance Company for the past 7 years. Works as a DJ and music producer. Graduate of Eroni Alef dance department in Tel Aviv. Participated during his studies in an student exchange program with De Kunsthumaniora school. Participated in the excellence programs of Batsheva Dance Company and Kibbutz Dance Company (KCDC). Was awarded a full scholarship to a summer cource at the American Academy for Ballet. Served in the IDF as an excellent dancer. Today is part of the team Evyatar and Yoni and works in collaboratio woth various artists.

Ella Lavie (cruella) is a musician, singer, writer, composer and voice development teacher. Graduated the Rimon music school with excellency and participated at the youth excellence program at Rimon. Went to a tour in New York with her original music that is characterized with Jazz and Hip Hop influence. Her mini album ”Can Too Good Go To Hell?” is played around the world on Spotify and Apple music. Had collaborations with various artists in Israel and abroad. Participated in the project "Yaale Veyavo" in collaboration with Aroma Music with artists like Yuval Dayan, Shlomi Shabbat and more. Participates today at the program The Next Star (הכוכב הבא) by Keshet 12 broadcasting. Plays the piano, drums and bass guitar.

Yankalle Filtser is a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher in Israel and abroad. Danced with Batsheva Ensemble and Inbal Dance Company and worked as an independent dancer with various choreographers. Graduate of the Maslool dance training school, Danceweb scholarship program in Vienna and the Academy highschool for dance. A certified teacher of Gaga movement language. A certified practitioner of the Ilan Lev Method. His works were presented on various stages in Israel and abroad. Recipient of scholarships by Pais Foundation, the ministry of culture, America Israel cultural Foundation, Rabinovich Foundation and Tel Aviv municipality, Clor Foundation and more. Member of the Israeli Choreographes Association and participant in the residency program by Yafo Creative. Artistic director of As Is - dance series by Sadnaot Habama stage center. Works today with Dafi Altabeb dance group and choreographer Odelya Kuperberg. The initiator of the "Open Source Choreography" project, which promotes collaborative work with artists from various fields.
