Caesarea Sands – A magical night walk in the dunes of the coast

A nighttime experience for the whole family

When the sun sets and night takes over the landscape, the sands of Caesarea come to life – and it’s just the right moment to join us on a unique night walk! Who leaves footprints in the sand? Us or the creatures that live here? Join an unconventional family tour, where we will discover the magic of the sands through sensory experiences, nocturnal adventures and fascinating stories about the hidden animal world.

We will meet at the Quarry Park – a restored nature area that has become a charming corner in the heart of the urban environment. From there we will continue to the golden sand dunes, learn what makes the sands such a special habitat and admire the view from the top of a high dune – the “Everest of the Sands” – just before the sun disappears completely. We will glide down the sandy slopes and enjoy fun roller coasters like before, then darkness falls and nature begins to awaken and we follow in its footsteps. We will learn to read footprints, notice animal signs and discover who leaves marks in the sand – us, or the creatures that live here? Between unique vegetation and soft sand, we will connect with nature and get to know the night secrets of one of the last remaining sand areas along the coast of Israel.

Difficulty level of walk: Easy, on sand. About 2 km.
The trail is not shaded and is not accessible to strollers
